Cocomaya stole my heart.
Without a doubt the BEST pizza I have ever tasted. The crust is so thin it's almost like a cracker and the topping combination is genius yet simple. I'm not sure if the pizza is made in all their branches, but I've had it at the Brompton Road branch and the woman who makes them is only available till 4 on weekdays and till 6 on weekends, so plan accordingly, but it's so worth it. Afternoon tea is also a delight at Cocomaya, but make sure you go on an empty stomach. It also helps that the place has an incredible interior, made me feel like I'm Alice in Wonderland.
Started off with a quinoa salad. |
Zucchini and spinach topped off with a lot of olives |
Makes my mouth water just looking at it. |
Top it off with some chilli oil. |
Finish off with the mini honey cake, which is to die for. |
Fulham's Finest
Moosh.
The name itself is intriguing. It's a fresh fruit
smoothie style cafe and it has it all from smoothies, sandwiches, wheatgrass
shots and finally, frozen yoghurt. They believe in keeping everything
natural, fresh and simple and it works. The interior of the cafe looks
like a garden with fake grass and an indoor tree serving as a safe haven for
anyone who's up for a relaxing treat. With only one flavour, which
unsurprisingly is natural, they play it up with all the right toppings.
My favourite; apple, crushed meringue and mint. |
From Italy with Love
Made in Italy is a growing restaurant group that gives you a sense of authentic, rustic Southern Italian pizzerias. Their genuine Italian hospitality makes the entire experience a lot more enjoyable and welcoming. Their thin base pizzas are to die for and be sure to never leave the crusts behind.
Not your usual cheese sticks. Fried bread-crumbed mozzarella with a sweet cherry tomato dip. |
It's not a pizza without extra olives |

Westernised Arabic Food
Baity, which translates to 'my home' in Arabic offers a wide variety of deli styled food. They offer a westernised twist on middle eastern dishes successfully. It actually caught my eye after leaving Jak's on Walton st. and I thought I have to check it out and so I did. Really good food, wasn't too impressed with the desserts, so stick with Jak's on that one.
Because who doesn't like frozen yoghurt..
FRAE yogurt comes from a proper dairy farm in North Wales. It is made with real yoghurt, not rehydrated powder yogurt mixes so commonly used in the frozen yogurt market today. This means FRAE tastes deliciously creamy and smooth with not a hint of iciness. Only four flavours, but it's quality not quantity.
Creamy yoghurt...
